- clarify vision and focus
- prioritize community goals
- build strengths and capacity
- create long-lasting improvement in the lives of Children, Families, and Seniors

The Power of Partnership Initiative is seeking input from hundreds of local experts and thousands of community members as we build a vision for how we want our community to be 10 years in the future. Then, using local knowledge and national research on the most effective strategies, we will create Master Action Plans (MAPs) to realize this vision. |

Participating Groups:
- Vision Council: 30 community leaders
- Steering Committees: 12-18 community experts
- Expert Forums: Forums open to everyone working with children, families, and seniors
- Community Vision Forums & Surveys: Forums and online surveys open to all community members
Every community member and local organization has a stake in the success of the Power of Partnership Initiative, including city governments of Santa Barbara, Goleta, and Carpinteria, county government, school districts, media, faith-based organizations, neighborhood associations, arts organizations, charitable foundations, educational and academic community, medical and mental health professionals, non-profit organizations, service organizations, and many more! |
